Some of our Webelos I scouts got to spend a couple of chilly nights at Palo Duro Canyon State Park. We got to go on a couple of fun and scenic hikes, we learned about the park and earned some Junior Naturalist badges, did some leather craft work, and enjoyed a campfire each night!
Low temperatures at night were 26° and 20°, and the mercury climbed to 86° during the day on Saturday! To top it all off, by the time we broke camp and had the truck packed up to head home on Sunday morning, it was snowing heavily!
All in all, it was a great trip, and we’re looking forward to the next one!
